HomeMy WebLinkAboutLAFCO Notice of Hearing - Hildale Ave Annex Ci NOTICE OF HEARING TO: Public Agencies, Affected Landowners, Owners of Property and Registered Voters located within 300 feet of proposed project, and Interested Persons FROM: Butte Local Agency Formation Commission SUBJECT: NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE MAILED: September 11, 2008 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held by the Butte Local Agency Formation Commission to consider the proposed Hildale Avenue annexation as submitted by the Lake Oroville Area Public Utility District (LOAPUD) for the project described below. LAFCo File No. 08-14 - LOAPUD— Hildale Avenue Annexation No. 4 The annexation of approximately 10.7 acres, consisting of three (3) parcels, to the Lake Oroville Area Public Utility District to provide public sanitary sewer service for existing single-family residential development and future residential development, including a tentatively-approved 21-lot residential subdivision (Hall Tentative Subdivision Map, APN 068-341-010). The parcels proposed for annexation to LOAPUD are identified as Assessor's Parcel Numbers 068-341-010, 068-341-018, and 068-341-019, and are addressed as 4001, 4035, and 4045 Hildale Avenue, Oroville, CA, as shown on the attached map. This annexation does not have the support of 100% of the affected property owners. The Commission will consider oral and written statements by any interested person or affected agency as well as the report of the Executive Officer. At this hearing, the Commission may either approve or disapprove this proposal or continue it to a future meeting. The Commission has the authority to amend the boundaries to either include additional parcels contiguous to the project site or to exclude properties if supported by reasonable and substantial evidence that the modifications are consistent with state law and Commission policies. The Commission may also impose conditions upon the project. Objections to the regularity or sufficiency of the preliminary proceedings or the reasons why you are in opposition to the proposal must be in writing. Any objections must be filed with the Executive Officer or Commission prior to the conclusion of the hearing. The hearing will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. in the Butte County Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965. The proposal staff report may be examined five days before the hearing at 1453 Downer Street, Suite C, Oroville CA, 95965, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or on the LAFCo website located at www.buttelafco.org, or at your local branch of the Butte County Library.
