SUBJECT: NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE MAILED: August 19. 2008
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held by the Butte Local Agency Formation Commission to
consider the proposed Hi|da(a Avenue annexation as submitted by the Luke OroviUe Area Public Utility
District (LOAPUD) for the project described below.

The annexation of approximately 10.7 ocren, consisting of three (3) pan:e|s, to the Lake OruviUe Area
Public Utility District to provide public sanitary sewer service for existing and future deve|npment,
including a tentatively-approved 21-lot residential subdivision (Hall Tentative Subdivision Map, APN 068--
341-010)
68'341-D10) The parcels proposed for annexation to L0APUO are identified on Assessor's Parcel
Numbers 068-341-010, 868'341'018 and 068'341-019. and are addressed as 4001, 4035. and 4045
Hi|da|eAxenue OroviUe. CA, asshown onthe attached map.
This annexation has the support of 100Y6 of the affected property owners. The Commission will consider oral
and written statements by any interested person or aff*ohpd agency as well as the report of the Executive
Officer. At this hearing, the Commission may either approve or disapprove this proposal or continue it to a
future meeting The Commission has the authority to amend the boundaries to either include additional
parcels contiguous to the project site or to exclude properties if supported by reasonable and substantial
evidence that the modifications are consistent with state law and Commission policies The Commission
may also impose conditions upon the project. Objections to the regularity or sufficiency of the preliminary
proceedings or the reasons why you are in opposition to the proposal must be in writing. Any objections
must be filed with the Executive Officer or Commission prior to the conclusion of the hearing. As this
annexation is supported by 100% of the affected property ovvneny. the Commission will waive future formal
protest proceedings.
The hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 10' 2008' at 9:00 a.m. in the Chico Municipal
Center, Council Chamber, located et421Main Street, Chico, CA, 95H28.
The proposal staff report may beexamined five days before the hearing at 1453 Downer Street, Suite C,
OroviUe CA 95965 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or on the L4FCo website located at
vmxwv.butte|afco.org or at your |noa| branch of the Butte County Library. For more information please contact
