What is the purpose of the SOI amendment? _The Citv of Chico recently extended sanitary sewer to serve the roe at 13404 Brown's Valley Drive This sewer main can be further extended to serve three additional parcels totaling 15t acres These three parcels are currently outside the City's sphere The Droaosed amendment will add the three arcels to the Cit 's sphere, making them eli ible to receive sanita sewer service and when annexed receive all municipal services to support existing and future site development 2. Why or how will the proposal provide greater efficiency in the delivery of governmental services? Ultimately the sphere amendment will enable the extension of sanitary sewer to facilitate the future and further development of the industrial parcels In addition, the City currently Drovides a full range of municipal services to adiacent incorporated properties and these services will be extended to the subiect property upon annexation Subiect to LAFCo approval sanitary sewer service may also be extended to serve industrial development in advance of annexation. 3.
