To Whom It May Concern
As someone who has had the privilege of observing and participating in the development of solar programs across the
country, I am very excited about the evolution of the Community Choice Aggregation/Community Choice Energy
initiative in California.
This ground-breaking legislative initiative is changing the century-old utility model and California is at the forefront of
this change. Of particular note is the ability of CCAs to adapt to -and take advantage of-new technologies, rate
structures and business models at a pace that reflects how these issues are evolving in the real world.
As a developer, I welcome the opportunity to initiate a dialogue between solar(and DER) energy providers and the
"utility" (i.e.the CCA)with a greater level of transparency and collaboration, in order to facilitate the goals of reduced
energy cost to customers, more local, renewable energy, and local economic development.
I would like to offer my strong support for initiating a feasibility study for a Butte County CCA, and would be happy to
entertain any further discussion and answer any questions about why I think this would be a benefit to the community.
Sincerely,
Lee J. V. Feliciano
