Re. Scott "Kent" Fowler,
Dear members, Board of Trustees,
I am writing to encourage you to consider supporting my fellow Feather
River Recreation and Park District board member, Scott "Kent" Fowler,
in his efforts to serve as a non-enterprise member of Butte County's
LAFCO board.
From the time Kent first moved to Oroville from Southern California
fourteen years ago, he immediately became involved in more civic
organizations than I would now have either the time or space to list.
Kent is a no-nonsense, hardworking public servant. On our FRRPD
board, he has been a tireless advocate for the maintenance, and
improvement of our parks. But his vision is far beyond our parks,
encompassing broad goals for the community as a whole. It is for this
reason I believe he would be an excellent fit for the LAFCO Board.
