To the Board of Supervisors,
I am writing this letter in support of your efforts to implement AB 811 at the county level. Despite the
difficulties associated with small government entities issuing property tax secured bonds, it is important
for the county that a solution be found. The economic (as well as the environmental) advantages to the
county are significant. The reduced spending leakage and increased local employment will contribute
positively to the local economy, and will do so at a time when an economic stimulus is badly needed. I
hope your efforts will continue to move this forward.
