Reference: Complaint about overgrowth of Scotch Broom ORovILLF, CALIroRNtA
Fire on Old Skyway, September 10, 2014
Dear Supervisor Teeter:
Two deputies from the SWAP program came to the above address this date and tools
photographs and indicated that they were going to seek the permission of Mrs.
Branson, the owner of the property containing the overgrowth of Scotch Broombto
remove it. They asked that I communicate this to you.
Another problem still remains and that is the juveniles, who apparently set the fire
on Old Skyway and seem to use Old Skyway as a place for illegal activities. Last night
at about 9 PM, I called 911 to report that fireworks were being ignited near or at the
look out point. I used 911 because of the imminent fire danger that exists. This date,
Birgitte Molvig found the remains of the ignited fire works and took them to the
Magalia Sheriff's Office. I would again ask for random night- time patrols.
Also the A frame house on Old Skyway is currently unoccupied. However, walking
my dog one morning, I saw a female in the house. This is another reason for night-
time patrols.
Thank you and the various agencies for their efforts to secure the safety of the
residents of Old Skyway.
Sincerely, _
Frances Simmons
