Dear Chairperson Josiassen:
The U.S. Department of Agriculture granted a Secretarial disaster designation for the
county of Glenn and the contiguous counties of Butte, Colusa,Lake,Mendocino and
Tehama due to agriculture losses caused by abnormally low temperatures and freezing
conditions that occurred on April 20, 2008.
The Governor's Office of Emergency Services is providing the enclosed information
regarding this designation. Please inform potential applicants throughout your county of this
designation and information.
