The U.S. Department of Agriculture granted a Secretarial disaster designation for the
county of Glenn and the contiguous counties of Butte, Colusa, Lake, Mendocino, and
Tehama due to agriculture losses caused by hot. dry winds that occurred May 1 , 2008,
through May 22, 2008.
The Governor's Office of Emergency Services is providing the enclosed information
regarding this designation. Please inform potential applicants throughout your county of this
designation and information.
