The U.S. Department of Agriculture granted a Secretarial disaster designation for the
county of Glenn and the contiguous counties of Butte, Colusa, Lake, Mendocino, and
Tehama due to agriculture losses caused by hot, dry winds that occurred May 14, 2008,
through May 22, 2008.
