f am writing about the above application for Outdoor Festival Permit.l request
that this permit be denied.
1 have lived on property adjacent to the Concow Campground for many years.
Through the years there has been a once a year outdoor festival called "Wild
Mountain Fair." Although it was sometimes loud and distracting it was just once a
year and it was good for the community. This year two Wild Mountain Fairs have
been approved, one in June and the other a month later in July. Now along comes
a third by a country hip hop band called "The Moonshine Bandits." if this
continues with more and more music festivals it will be very disturbing to this
community. There is no barrier to the loud volume of music. Much of the forest
burned down in 2008. Many home owners are directly across the lake from the
music with no buffer to sound, and have complained about it. The noise has also
disturbed people in Camelot and the Cirby Creek area.
Please consider my request for denial.
