Stew Ir s ' Paradise, Ca 95969 Council Dear Supervisor Teeter: The Stewardship Council has developed a Land Conservation and Conveyance Plan (LCCP)for the Butte Creek planning unit located in Butte County that is currently owned by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E). As paff of this land conservation effort, PG&E will retain fee title to 2,179 acres within the Butte Creek planning unit subject to a conservation easement to be held by Northern California Regional Land Trust. On February 26, 2018, the Stewardship Council will issue this draft LCCP for a 30-day public review and comment period. The 30-day public review and comment period will be widely announced via an e-mail sent to contacts in the Stewardship Council's database, a posting on the Stewardship Council's web site, and an advertisement placed in your local community paper. A notice inviting review and comment on the draft LCCP will also be sent to all landowners on record located within one mile of the subject PG&E parcel; each affected city, town, and water supply entity; and each affected tribe and/or co-licensee. Enclosed is the notice of the 30-day public comment and review period for the Butte Creek LCCP. It outlines the purpose of the LCCP, the process for providing comments, and how these comments will be considered by the Stewardship Council. Thank you for your interest. Follow- ing the completion of its review, the Watershed Planning Committee will forward the proposed LCCP, the comments received, and any proposed modifications to the Stewardship Council's Board of Directors.
