Your Office of Traffic Safety {QTS) Coordinator will be contacting you or the Grant Coordinator
to aI-range a Grantee Performance Review (GPR) meeting or conference call for the grant titled
"Buckle Up for Life." This meeting should include your grant personnel and fiscal
representative.
GPRs are used to track the progress toward meeting goals and objectives, as well as compliance
with procedures, laws, regulations and sound operational practices to fulfill state and federal
requirements. This review is also an opportunity to showcase your accomplishments, discuss
any needed improvements, or clarify any issues pertaining to your grant.
The GPR includes both a program and financial review. Some of the items to be covered include
whether: {1) adequate progress has been made to meet performance goals and objectives;
(2) activities are implemented on schedule; (3) Quarterly Performance Reports (QPRs) are
submitted accurately and timely; (4) reimbursement claims are accurately prepared and
submitted quarterly; and (5) QPRs highlight noteworthy accomplishments and/or problems.
Once the GPR meeting leas been completed, OTS will mail you a GPR evaluation letter along
with a copy of the form OTS-76, Grantee Performance Review Monitoring Checklist, stating the
results and recommendations of the GPR. If you have any questions or comments, please
