I just would like to share with you my excitement for achieving this major and important milestone. I would like to let you know that I have pledged my loyalties to my employer by working hard, exercising high work ethics and professional standards, and providing excellent customer service. I have been representing the County by conducting myself in highly professional manner and promoting on daily basis departmental vision and mission of "treating clients and their families with dignity and respect" and "partnering for safe and reliable community." I also carried on my personal honesty and integrity. It is obvious that for these ten years I have not shown those "soft skills" that would get me promoted, but I am also proud that my work performance has not derived from the need for personal gain, but has been motivated by self -gratification and self -actualization. My self -actualization is deeply rooted in my profound natural, humanistic and philanthropic sense of good, of love and help for people who need it. I am thankful for being given this opportunity to work in customer service and public service, which are in my DNA and which I do the best. I believe that I, as many other County employees, have made a difference and have made the Butte County much better place for the countless number of citizens who entered the doors of DESS in Chico and Oroville.
