Thank you for the opportunity to serve of the Butte County Tax Appeals board for the past year. I have
completed the training required, delved into specific subjects more deeply upon requirement, and will
continue to work toward further understanding of the unique rules and issues of county property
assessment valuation going forward.
The position has not resulted in any conflicts with my professional position at the Federal government or
of time constraints from my home life and I have enjoyed working on the problems presented with the
other board members. It is gratifying to be able to provide service for my local community regarding
issues with which I have some familiarity and on a board that provides an important check on the
assessment process.
I would like to continue to serve on the Butte County Assessment Appeals Board and am requesting that I
be reappointed for service thereon.
