Commerce, I write to ask you to preserve the funding for the Butte County

the present time, we firmly believe that a viable library system is an important
element that reflects our cornmitment to a higher quality of life.
A common question often asked by those looking to relocate to the area is in
relationship to the library system. Public libraries are viewed as important
components and partners to our educational institutions and are a key piece of a
healthy, well-educated community.
We hope you will be able to find sufficient funding in your difficult budget
choices to fund the library system at its current level of service.
