Bill and 1 wanted to personally thank you for your help in bringing to a conclusion the recent
two-year water lease agreements between Butte County, DWR, and Palmdale and Dudley Ridge
Water Districts. The simple fact is that without your leadership, it would never have happened.
For the first time in literally decades, with you at the helm of DWR, Butte County and DWR may be
able to work together and resolve our differences. It is truly a pleasure to have someone who wants
to get things done and move forward rather than reliving past differences.
With that said, we invite you to visit with us anytime. We would love to show you around Butte,
Lake Oroville, and maybe even stop by the world famous Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico to toast to
a new future between Butte County and DWR.
