The United Public Employees of California, Local 792 along with Butte County Road Workers presented their appeal for a Unit Modification before the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, September 10th. At that meeting Brian Ring, Butte County Human Resource Director recommended we include additional Job classifications into the Unit. We have complied with his request. The new Unit would include the following Job Classifications: * Animal Control * Building Crafts * Cooks * Utility Workers m Equipment Mechanics * Facilities Maintenance "Grounds Maintenance 0 Hazardous Materials Management * Heavy Equipment Mechanics * Janitors • Landfill Equipment Operators * Landfill Maintenance Workers • Recycling Coordinator * Vehicle Service Workers * Parts Supply Clerk • Telephone Communication Techs ^ Road Maintenance Workers • Traffic Control Workers OnFebruary G,2O14,Brian Ring informed 0PECLocal 792that they had met all the requirements for the proposed modification request. We believe we have met your criteria and that our request is fair and just.
