Public Employees of California, Local 792 along with Butte County Road Workers presented their
appeal for a Unit Modification before the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, September 10th. At that
meeting Brian Ring, Butte County Human Resource Director recommended we include additional Job
classifications into the Unit. We have complied with his request. The new Unit would include the
following Job Classifications:
* Animal Control * Building Crafts * Cooks * Utility Workers

proposed modification request. As of Monday April 28th, 2014 we were informed by Mr. Ring that he
recommended our request for the Unit Modification for a separate Public Works/Skilled Trades
bargaining unit.
We believe we have met your criteria and that our request is fair and just. Please support our request
for a Unit Modification and to, ave United Public Employees of California, Local 792 represent the
