As of today, October 13, 2011, z am tendering my resignation from .the board in order to pursue other interests. I recommend a replacement with the following characteristics: a Chico resident, active in one ar more community groups not associated with the Butte County Library, and maybe a little younger than me. When you have elected your 2011-2012 officers, please let me know .if you would like me to continue with the commitment I made to research the Best Practices of other library systems in Technology.
