Sale of tax-defaulted property -- a resolution has been pre- pared which would authorize the Tax Collector to sell at public auction 33 properties with an estimated value of $912,280 and back taxes, penalties and costs. ADOPTED RESOLUTION 87-04 AUTHORIZING THE TAX COLLECTOR TO SELL, AT A PUBLIC AUCTION, IDENTIFIED TAX-DEFAULTED PROPERTIES AND AUTHORIZED THE CHAIR TO SIGN. 16. Child Abuse Prevention Program funding - the State Department of Social Services requests a statement of intent to contract for child abuse prevention and intervention services far 1987-88. APPROVED LETTER SUPPORTING THE CONTINUATION OF THE EXISTING CONTRACT WITH THE PARENT EDUCATION NET~IORK. 17. Supplemental roll revenues to county far administrative costs - AB 2890 requires the Board to adopt a method of identifying actual administrative costs associated with the supplemental assessment roll and to obtain certification from the State Board of Equalization that the county maintains at least 90~ of the assessment level required by statute in order to be allocated, costs not to exceed 5~ of the supplemental roll revenues far administrative costs. Butte County Fair 1987 operating budget - the Fair Board submits the budget totaling $404,535 {expenditure budget, $346,614 and reserves, $57,925). Salary ordinance amendment - the ordinance adds a deputy district attorney I - IV and a district attorney investigator II, I to the District Attorney's criminal budget {324-001). WAIVED THE FIRST READING OF THE ORDINANCE. 21. 1987-88 Arts Commission grant application. AUTHORIZED THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT THE GRANT APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA ARTS COUNCIL ON BEHALF OF THE BUTTE COUNTY ARTS COMMISSION FOR FY 1987-88, 22. Award of grant funds - School-Community Primary Prevention Programs -notification has been received from the State Department of Education that the Mental Health Department`s School-Community Primary Drug Abuse Prevention has been awarded continued funding in the amount of $34,781 under the auspices of SB 110 - action requested - ACCEPTED AWARD OF GRANT FUNDS. 23. Amendment No. 1 - Planning Associates environmental impact report contract - the firm has informed of a change in staff assigned to prepare the Terry Flodin Subdivision EIR and are requesting a two-week extension to submit the administrative draft of the EIR - action requested -APPROVED AMENDMENT NO. 1 CHANGING THE STAFF AND TIME EXTENSION AS REQUESTED. 24. Amendment Na. 1 - State Youth Authority Contract No. 51-86 - the amendment cavern clarification of costs to be billed and invoicing methods in the keeping of state wards at Butte County Juvenile Hall. APPROVED CONTRACT AMENDMENT AND AUTHORIZED THE CHAIR TO SIGN. 25. Request for proposals -jail medical services - the present contract far jail medical services expires August 29, 1987 and a new request for proposals has been prepared.
