Call to order - A Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors
was held in the Board of Supervisors room, County Administration
Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California on
' February 24, 1983, at 2:32 p.m.
Present: Supervisors Moseley, Saraceni, Wheeler and Chair Dolan;
Del Siemsen,.county counsel; and Eleanor M. Beckerr county clerk,
by Rubye Townsley, deputy clerk. Absent: Supervisor Fulton
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
• Invocation - Supervisor Moseley
RECESS: The Board recessed at 2:35 p.m. fox an executive session
on matters of litigation.
RECONVENE: The Board reconvened at 3:05 following executive
session. Two announcements were made:
1. THE BOARD AUTHORIZED RETENTION OF OUTSIDE COUNSEL FOR THE
APPEAL OF THE BACH DECISION.
2. THE BOARD AUTHORIZED COUNTY COUNSEL TO HIRE EXPERTS AS HE DEEMS
NECESSARY IN MATTERS Or LITIGATION.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 3:07 p.m.
