AND CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER SHARI MCCRACKEN TO REVIEW CLEAN-UP EFFORTS. SUPERVISOR TEETER
ALSO DISCUSSED A LISTENING SESSION HE AND MRS. MCCRACKEN WILL BE ATTENDING TONIGHT WITH
CONTRACTORS REGARDING ISSUES SURROUNDING THE ALTERNATIVE DEBRIS REMOVAL PROGRAM AND THE TIME

SUPERVISOR LUCERO HIGHLIGHTED A MEETING SHE HAD IN NORTH CHICO REGARDING TRAFFIC AND CONGESTION
IN THE GARNER / HIGHWAY 99 AREA IN CHICO. SHE FURTHER REQUESTED THE BOARD SUBMIT A LETTER TO
CALTRANS DISCUSSING THIS ISSUE. SHE FURTHER HIGHLIGHTED HER ATTENDANCE TO THE CALIFORNIA STATE
ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES (CSAC) BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING SHE ATTENDED, AS WELLASTHE CSAC NEW
SUPERVISORS INSTITUTE SEMINAR. SUPERVISOR ANNOUNCED HER UPCOMING ATTENDANCE TO THE UPCOMING
NACO MEETING IN WASHINGTON, D.C. LASTLY, SUPERVISOR RITTER REQUESTED A DISCUSSION ON THE
ALTERNATIVE DEBRIS REMOVAL PROGRAM.

AS A RESULT OF THE CAMP FIRE.

MOTION: 1) APPOINT AARON QUIN AS INTERIM DIRECTOR -PUBLIC HEALTH EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2019 THROUGH
JUNE 30,2019; 2) SETTHE SALARY FOR THE INTERIM APPOINTMENT AS THE MINIMUM ANNUAL SALARY
FOR THE DIRECTOR -PUBLIC HEALTH AT $140,146, AS LISTED IN SECTION 29, REFERENCE A, OF THE
BUTTE COUNTY SALARY ORDINANCE, EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2019; 3) PROVIDE MILEAGE ALLOWANCE AT
THE RATE OF $620/MONTH; 4) DOCUMENT BY MINUTE ORDER MR. QUINAS INTERIM APPOINTMENT;
