and four laser printers in the maximum amount of
$14,800 (TRIAL COURT FUNDING) to supplement the
present Data General System - action requested -
APPROVE BUDGET TRANSFER 8-157 AND PURCHASE OF FIXED
ASSET ITEMS.
14. Conveyance of County property - Fire Department
Squad No. 12 - 1972 Dodge 4WH crew cab chassis
(County vehicle no. 880 E102011/vin no.
W25BE2S554745) - on September 9, 1986 the County
accepted a donated used truck chassis from the
Stirling City Volunteer Fire Company for use as a
rescue squad. A new chassis funded through the
50/50 cost share program has replaced the used
chassis which is surplus to the Department's needs.
The voluntary company has requested that the used
chassis ownership be returned to them for resale
and subsequent income for use in purchasing fire
protection equipment for use in their community -
action requested - AUTHORIZE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE
OF INTENTION TO CONVEY COUNTY PROPERTY PURSUANT TO

of real property to be used as a portion of the
Durham-Chico bike path (also known as the Midway
Bicycle path) for the sum of $6,000, and subject to

UNDERSTANDING AND AUTHORIZE THE AGRICULTURAL
COMMISSIONER TO SIGN SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF COUNTY

94-122 25. State Department of Toxic Substances Control -
under the terms of the proposed agreement (no. 93-
T0434), the County agrees to provide a specialized
team of personnel to respond to hazardous materials
emergencies or potential emergencies, and to
purchase hazardous materials emergency response
equipment which shall be used by the Fire
Department's Hazardous Materials Unit. The grant
is in the amount of $44,000 - action requested -
ADOPT RESOLUTION 94-49 APPROVING AGREEMENT AND
AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF

26. 1993-94 Cooperative Fire Protection agreement -
California Department of Forestry and Fire
Protection - the proposed agreement with the County
covers the period July 1, 1993 through June 30,
1994 in the maximum amount of $4,288,318 (GENERAL
FUND) - action requested - ADOPT RESOLUTION 94-50
APPROVING THE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO
SIGN SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF COUNTY COUNSEL AND THE
AUDITOR-CONTROLLER.
27. Amendment no. 6 - State Board of Corrections
agreement - Butte County Jail - the amendment
extends the grant expiration date from June 30,
1994 to July 30, 1995 with no changes to
funding - action requested - APPROVE AMENDMENT N0.
6 AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN.
28. Request for proposal (RFP) - development and
implementation of a comprehensive "turn key"
records and supply management system - the Welfare
Department is requesting Board authorization to
distribute a RFP to develop and implement a pilot
records and supply management system which must
meet the needs of the Department, be adaptable
enough to accept other County departments as new
subscribers, and be flexible enough to accommodate
existing and emerging technologies. The Butte
County Management Council is in support of this
proposal - action requested - AUTHORIZE
DISTRIBUTION OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
29. Butte County Office of Education Regional
Occupational Program (ROP) - proposed is an
agreement for the provision of training in the
necessary entry-level skills in auxiliary hospital
and medical services within the GAIN Health
Occupations Program for 23 GAIN clients during the
period May 23, 1994 to September 6, 1994 in the
maximum amount of $32,417 (Federal/State/County} -
