MINUTES - MAY 2, 2006
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956 the Butte County Board
of Supervisors hereby called to order at 9:14 a.m., a Special
Meeting/Workshop in the Board of Supervisors Room, County
Administration Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville.
Supervisors present: Connelly, Dolan, Yamaguchi and Chair
Josiassen. Supervisor not present: Houx. Also present: Paul
McIntosh, Chief Administrative Officer; Bruce Alpert, County
Counsel; and Marion Reeves, Assistant Clerk of the Board.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
CORRECTIONS AND/OR CHANGES TO THE AGENDA (NONE)
CONSENT AGENDA (NO Items )
REGULAR AGENDA
0610-001 Neal Road Sanitary Landfill Capital Improvement Plan - workshop
with staff to discuss the Capital Improvement Plan for the Neal
Road Sanitary Landfill and possible financing options - action
requested - STAFF DIRECTION AS NEEDED. (46)
PRESENTATION TO THE BOARD BY MIKE CRUMP, DIRECTOR PUBLIC WORKS,
AND BILL MANNEL, SOLID WASTE MANAGER.
MOTION: I MOVE TO DIRECT STAFF TO DEVELOP THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS AND
RETURN BACK TO THE BOARD FOR CONSIDERATION AT A FUTURE DATE, AND
FURTHER MOVE TO GIVE AUTHORITY TO STAFF TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES
WITH ALL PARTIES NECESSARY TO AFFECT THE ISSUANCE OF THE REVENUE
BONDS, WITH FINAL DOCUMENTS RETURNING TO THE BOARD FOR FINAL
APPROVAL.
