Relief from accountability - several departments .have requested relief from accountability on fixed asset items which have been destroyed, damaged, stolen or are unlocatable. The District Attorney, pursuant to Butte County Charter Article VII, section 11, has conducted an investigation and is unable to find any gross negligence on the part of department heads involved regarding the unaccountable items - action requested - AUTHORIZE RELIEF FROM ACCOUNTABILITY AS REQUESTED. Salary ordinance amendment - the ordinance places a deputy sheriff position previously assigned to the Student Drug Abuse Program to the Sheriff's operation budget - action requested - WAIVE THE SECOND READING AND ADOPT ORDINANCE 2757. 12. Salary ordinance amendment - increases the salaries of Superior Court judges to $89,851 and Municipal Court judges to $82,054 to become effective June 1, 1989, The County's share remains at $7,500 - action requested - WAIVE THE SECOND READING AND ADOPT ORDINANCE 2758. 13. Auditor's Office equipment back-up agreement - an agreement has been prepared with Administrative Systems, Tnc. to provide mutual aid contingency back-up for Thermobond and Bursting equipment. There is no cost associated with the agreement - action requested -APPROVE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN. 21. Agreement 7 - Oroville transportation services agreement - an amendment has been prepared to the agreement with the City of Oroville for transportation services in the Oroville area for handicapped and senior citizens and provides for continuing operation of the Oroville Express until June 30, 1990 -action requested - APPROVE AMENDMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN SUBJECT TO REVIEW BY THE AUDITOR. 22. Agreement 8 - Oroville area bus services - the amendment with the City of Oroville provides for continued operation of the Oroville area transit service until June 30, 1990 - action requested - APPROVE AMENDMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN SUBJECT TO REVIEW BY THE AUDITOR. 23. Dental services agreement - an agreement has been prepared with Robert E. Kearbey, D.D.S. in an amount not to exceed $6,000 to provide dental services to beneficiaries of the general assistance program dental element covering the period July 1, 1989 through June 30, 1990 - action requested - APPROVE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN SUBJECT TO REVIEW BY COUNTY COUNSEL AND THE AUDITOR. 24.
