Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville. Present: Supervisors
Fulton, McLaughlin and Chair Dolan. Martin J. Nichols, chief
administrative officer; John Kenny, interim county counsel, by
Dan Montgomery, chief deputy county counsel; and Cathy Pitts,
assistant clerk to the Board. Absent: Supervisors McZnturf and
Vercruse.

1. Approve proposed budget.
2. Set public hearing for consideration of final budget August 1$,
1987 at 3.:30 p.m.
MOTION: 1) TO ADOPT THE PROPOSED BUDGET; 2) TO REFER THE PROPOSED
BUDGET TO THE BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEE TO HOLD HEARINGS
WITH DEPARTMENTS; AND 3} TO 5ET THE PUBLIC HEARING TO BEGIN
CONSIDERATION OF THE BUDGET FOR AUGUST 18, 19$7 AT 1:30 P.M.

87-333 Consideration of initiating a rezone of county operated solid waste
management facilities countywide to P-Q (public - quasi public) zone
and allowing for the issuance of development permits.

MOTION: MOVE TO INITIATE THE REZONE TO PUBLIC - QUASI PUBLIC WITH
THE SITES THAT WE HAVE AND DIRECT THAT THE DEVELOPMENT
PERMIT FOR THE REPAIR SHOP BE ALLOWED TO PROCEED CONCURRENT
WITH THE ZONING PROCESS.

refunds that would be necessary if the state does not act by
midnight.
