Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville. Present: Supervisors
Dolan, Fulton, McLaughlin, Vercruse, and Chairman McInturf. Plartin
J. Nichols, chief administrative officer; Susan Roff, county counsel;
and Lauretta Munster, assistant clerk of the Board.
Pledge of allegiance to the ETag of the United States of America.
88-450 CLOSED SESSION: The Board recessed at 9:15 a.m. to hold a closed
session on a personnel matter.
RECONVENE: The Board reconvened at 9:35 a.m. following a closed
session concerning personnel. (NO ANNOUNCEMENTS)
88-451 Budget Overview.
Martin Nichols, chief administrative officer, commented on the
technical and legal aspects of the proposed budget hearings.
Donna Landeros, deputy administrative officer, gave a brief review
of county finances.
Jirn Johansen, auditor-controller, discussed fund balance available
and adjustments to expenditures and revenues for 1988-89 fiscal
year.
Donna Landeros, deputy administrative officer, gave the
Administrative Office recommendation far restoration of the cuts.
88-452 Candace Grubbs, clerk-recorder. Presented the Recorder, Elections
and County Clerk budgets. PdO ACTION TAKEN.

88--455 Judge Brian Rix, North County Municipal Court. Presented North
County Aunicipal Court budget. NO ACTION TAKEN.
RECESS: There being nothing further before the Board at this
tine, the budget hearing was recessed at 17:15 a.m.
to reconvene on Wednesday, August 3, 1988 at 8:00 a.m.
