(279) MOTION: MOVE THAT THE BOARD ADOPT THE FINAL COUNTY BUDGET ASSUMING A COMBINATION OF REVENUE FUNDS FROM TRIAL COURT FUNDING AND BLOCK GRANT REVENUE WITH ADD BACKS TOTALING $1,790,000 (FIRE, $496,000; LIBRARIES, $410,000; PROBATION, $135,330; SHERIFF-SHASTA COUNTY, $150,000; CONTINGENCY, $350 000; BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS, $53,000! WARD BRING TO AN AUGUST BOARD MEETING A REVISED FEE SCHEDULE FOR ANIMAL CONTROL; BOARD DIRECT BOTH MEMBERS OF THE CHICO ISSUES COMMITTEE AND DR. WARD MEET WITH CITY OF CHICO T4 DISCUSS ANIMAL CONTROL IN THAT AREA; AND FURTHER DIRECTION TO THE LIBRARIES DIRECTOR AND FIRE WARDEN IS THAT THE TOP PRIORITY OF THE BOARD TS THAT HOURS OF SERVICE FOR LIBRARIES BE MAINTAINED AND THAT FIRE STATIONS REMAIN OPEN.
