to provide fiscal year 1982-83 services - maximum contract

Uniform fire hydrant service agreement - California Water
Service Company and the County of Butte - to define duties
and responsibilities relating to routine and emergency
hydrant usage - no cost impact. Action requested: APPROVE
AGREEMENT, AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN.
Renewal of variance to Section 19-10 and/or 19-12 of
the Butte County Code for placement of a mobile home.

Moraga Drive are requesitng that a load limit sign (10,000 lbs)
be placed on that street. The cost will be paid by the
community.

MOTION: I FIND THE PROPOSED PROJECT COULD NOT HAVE A
.SIGNIFICANT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT, AND

SUPERVISOR SARACENI ABSENT AT THIS TIME
82-1263 Chairman Wheeler requested that Counsel meet with Auditor
and administrative staff to provide-the Board with a legis-
lative interpretation of the recent court opinion on Propo-
sition_13 and how it would affect Butte County.
82-1264 Supervisor Moseley indicated that the Board of Supervisors
would not be meeting on August 31 and September 7..
82--1265 Chairman Wheeler reported on the recent conference
in Sacramento regarding the final 82-83 state budget
as it relates to the counties.
SUPERVISOR 5ARACENI PRESENT AT THIS TIME
82-1266 Supervisor Saraceni reported on the recent luncheon he
attended when he presented the Green Thumb organization with
a resolution from the Board of Supervisors recognizing
that organization.
82_1267 A report was given by Administration concerning the
recent jail escape from a Paradise substation.
82-12b8 A report regarding the City of Biggs contract for
law enforcement was given.
82-12b9 Chairman Wheeler requested permission of the Board _
to ca1T an informal public meeting on August 23, at
7 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors room relative to
a Citizens Water Advisory Committee.
