Section 25355, donations have been received for the Butte County

APPRECIATION.

11. Certificate of appreciation -Thomas B. Struthers -action
requested - APPROVE CERTIFICATE AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN.
12. Salary ordinance amendment -the ordinance completes the
agreement with the General Unit adapted in Ordinance 2675 and
2683 to increase the salaries for the nursing and related
management classes - action requested - WAIVE THE SECOND READING
ANA ADOPT ORDINANCE 2699.
13. Contract change order no. 3 - Ophir Road extension, project no.
21461-84-1 -the change order in the increasing amount o€
$30,440 provides reimbursement to the contractor for the removal
and replacement of unsuitable material and stabilization of the
existing ground with engineering fabric between Engineer's
station 134+54 and 149140 and allows five additional working
days to the contract time for the work involved. Budget
transfer B-1 has been prepared to provide the necessary
appropriation -action requested - APPROVE CHANGE ORDER AND
AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN.
14. Amendment ~. -Jail needs assessment contract -the amendment
with Institute for Law and Policy Planning provides far
extending the completion date for work from August 9 to
September 9, 3.988 -action requested - APPROVE AMENDMENT AND
AUTHORIZE THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER TO SIGN.
15. Karen Knight contract - the contract in the amount of $3,000
provides for individual therapy in child protective service
cases covering the period July 1, 1988 through December 31,
1988 - action requested -APPROVE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZE THE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN.
16. Eleanor Zahnd-Calvert contract - the contract in the amount of
$6,004 provides for individual therapy in child protective
service cases covering the period August 1, 1988 through
December 31, 1988 -action requested - APPROVE CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZE THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN.
1T. Long term preparation services agreement - an agreement has been
prepared with the Private Industry Council in the amount a#
$8,351 to provide long term preparation services for GAIN
participants covering the period July i. 1988 through June 30,
1989 -action requested - APPROVE AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE
CHAIRMAN TO SIGN.
18. Short term preparation services - an agreement has been prepared
with the Private Industry Council in the amount of $19,486 to
provide short term preparation services for GAIN participants
covering the period July 1, 1988 through June 30, 1989 - action

21. On-the-job training services agreement -- an agreement has been
