of a Special Meeting.
Present: Supervisors Dolan, Mclnturf, McLaughlin, Wheeler and
Chairman Fulton. Martin J. Nichols, chief administrative officer;
Del Siemsen, county counsel; and Cathy Pitts, assistant clerk to the
Board.
85-552 Report regarding Third District Court of Appeal Stay of Preliminary
Injunction in the matter of Nal T. Brooks, etc., et al vs. County of
Suite, et al. (DISCUSSED; NO ACTION TAKEN}
85-553 Consideration of authorizing emergency repairs to the Sheriff's Chico
Substation in accordance with the provisions of the Government Code.
MOTION: MOVED FOR THE ACTION A5 REQUESTED.

AT THE MEETING SEPTEMBER T7, T985: ]} ORDINANCE DETAILING LAYOFFS
OF THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT; 2) AUTHORIZATION TO ALLOW THE AUDITOR
TO PAY SALARIES UNTIL ORDINANCE TAKES EFFECT; AND 3) RATIFY SENDING
OUT OF THE LAYOFF NOTICES.)
ADJOURNMENT: There being nothing further before the Board at this time, the meeting
was adjourned at TT:40 a.m. to reconvene on Tuesday, September T7,
T985 at 9:00 a.m.
