Fulton, McInturf, McLaughlin, Vercruse and Chair Dolan.
Martin J. Nichols, chief administrative officer; Susan Roff, county
counsel,; and Pauline Romano, deputy clerk of the Board.
Pledge of allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

personnel; litigation, County of Butte vs, City of
Chico, cases 340790, 91304 and 88631; and meet
and confer.
RECONVENE: The Board reconvened at 3:28 p.m. following a closed
session. (NO ANNOUNGEMENTS MADE)
RECESS: The Board recessed at 3:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on September
30, 1987 to meet in closed session regarding litigation
between the County of Butte and the City of Chico.

RECONVENE: The Board reconvened at 1:24 p.m. Present: Supervisors
McInturf, Vercruse and Chair Dolan. Susan Roff, county
counsel; Martin J. Nichols, chief administrative officer;
and Cathy Pitts, assistant clerk to the Board. Absent:
Supervisors Fulton and McLaughlin.
CLOSED SESSTON: The Board recessed at 1:25 p.m. to bald a closed
session on discussion of litigation between the city
and county and meet and confer.
RECONVENE: The Board reconvened at 1:48 p.m. following a closed
session on litigation between the city and county and
meet and confer. (NO ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE AT THIS TIME.)
ADJOURNMENT: There being nothing further before the Board at this
time, the meeting was adjourned at 1:50 p,m. to
reconvene on Tuesday, October 6, 1987 at 9:00 a.m.
