Call to order - Board of Supervisors room, County Administration
Center, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville.
Present: Supervisors Dolan, Fulton, Moseley, Saraceni and
Chairman wheeler; Eleanor M. Becker, county clerk, by Rubye
Townsley, deputy clerk.
Work session with county department heads held as scheduled
at 2:00 p.m. to discuss Administrative Office structure.
Supervisor Fulton outlined a 5-step proposal and a cost for
a consultant to look into the Administrative Office structure
as follows: (1} Mr. Avery, the consultant, would review the
existing structure, including reviewing the county code and
ordinances, and interviewing staff and Board members; (2)
Interviewing department heads for input; (3) Management
consultant correlating items #1 and #2; (4) Board to be
provided with choice of various structures and some alter-
nitives including what other counties are doing; and, (5)
Summary of~these findings. The fee paid to the consultant
is not to exceed $6,000.00.
MOTION: TO PROCEED ACCORDING TO THE OUTLINE AND AT THE
PRICE THAT SUPERVISOR FULTON LISTED.
