Workfare (GAIN) Program - the salary ordinance creates three new positions for the Welfare Department to begin development of the County Workfare Program. WAIVED THE FIRST READING OF THE ORDINANCE. 16. Salary ordinance amendment - the amendment reorganizes the District Attorney's staff, consolidates the Sheriff's budget units, adds two vocational assessment positions to BCET, combines two Library part-time positions to a single position and flexibly staffs a variety of departmental jobs at no wage increase. WAIVED THE FIRST READING OF THE ORDINANCE. 17. Status of investments - the Treasurer submits the October 1985 report in accordance with AB 7023 and county's investment policy. Open Space Subvention Act report - a resolution has been prepared changing the authorized representative to submit Open Space Subvention Act reports from the Auditor to the Assessor. ADOPTED RESOLUTION 85-188 AllTHORIZING THE ASSESSOR TO FILE OPEN SPACE SUBVENTION ACT CLAIMS AND AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN. 19. 1985-8fi SB-325 and SB-b20 transit project claim - the claim for funds continues the current transportation projects operating in Butte County, including Butte County Transit, Orovil7e Area Transit, Chico Area Transit, Chico Clipper, Oroville Express and the subsidized taxi ticket exchange program, all of which are addressed in the current year's budget. Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Plan - the plan update covering fiscal year 1986-87 has been prepared according to state guidelines and has been reviewed by the Community Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Advisory Board and proposes a basic continuation of existing services. AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE PLAN AND APPROVED SUBMISSION TO THE STATE. 23. 1985-8fi County Health Services Pian and Budget - the plan and budget have been prepared for submission to the State Department of Health Services in accordance with Section 16700-16713 of the Welfare and Institutions Code and includes a net county cost of $1,904,234, representing a reduction of $36,364 from the previous year. APPROVED THE 1985--86 COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES PLAN AND BUDGET; AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN THE CERTIFICATION OF THE PLAN RND BUDGET; SET A HEARING DATE FOR DECEMBER ]7, 1985, AT 2:30 P.M. Marijuana crime prosecution {SB 1130) - a resolution has been prepared authorizing the District Attorney to submit a grant agreement application with the State Office of Criminal Justice Planning (OCJP) to provide $89,000 financial assistance for prosecution of crimes involving marijuana. ADOPTED RESULLiTION 85-i89 AND AUTHORIZED THE CHAIRMAN TD SIGN. 24. Amendment No. (85-ST8G-138) - of $136,128 inc for additional Center repair.
