Mr. Davis stated they would Be meeting again on December 16, 1980
as they have not. yet .determined the base year. They-have not established
what is going to FxaPP~•
Jack Briggs, Butte College, stated they were very concerned.
There would fie additional services provided.
s: Mra>Davis stated they were working toward the SB 49. deadline.
They will be addressing the housing units and t&e per capita rates and what
the general expen§es would be for fire, police and other services. They
will be discussing t~ii.s matter with Mr. Johansen. They will also have
to work with other agencies and need to meet with property owners. They
may or may not be able to absorb some of the county projects within the
project area.
The City of Chico made a motion that was unanimously carried to
address the issues discussed, to negotiate and proceed in a timely manner
fif possible.
Mr. -avis stated the Council would not plunge ahead into
something that would not work or cause undue hardships. He urged the
Board members to attend the hearings and meetings that will be held relative
to the redevelopment area.
On motion of Supervisor Wheeler, seconded by Supervisar Moseley
and carried, the Board will proceed with negotiations in a timely and
equitable manner.
On motion of Supervisor Wheeler, seconded by Supervisor Moseley
and carried, the meeting was adjourned at 4:52 p.m. to be reconvened on
Tuesday, November 25, 1980 at 9:00 a.m.
