BEELER, 1st District JANE DOLAN, 2nd District MARY ANNE HOUX, 3rd District CURT JOSIASSEN, 4th District KIM YAMAGUCHI, 5th District December 17, 2001 Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956, the Chair of the Butte County Board of Supervisors called to order a Special Meeting of the Board in the Board of Supervisors Room, County Administration Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville. Supervisors present: Beeler, Dolan, Houx, Yamaguchi, and Chair Josiassen. Also present: Lawrence Odle, Interim Chief Administrative Officer; Bruce Alpert, County Counsel; and Dorothy Bell, Deputy Clerk of the Board. Pledge Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America. Consent Acrenda (NO ITEMS) Regular Agenda 01-405 Measure B-Redistricting Referendum Ordinance - Ballot Arguments - consideration of a resolution authorizing members of the Board of Supervisors to submit ballot arguments for and against Measure B, the redistricting referendum ordinance, for the March 5, 2002, election - action for consideration - ADOPT RESOLUTION AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN. (25) MOTION: I MOVE TO DESIGNATE CHAIRMAN JOSIASSEN TO WRITE THE ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF MEASURE B AND ANY REBUTTAL TO THAT ARGUMENT, AND TO DESIGNATE THAT ANY BOARD MEMBERS WHO SO CHOOSE TO SIGN THAT BALLOT ARGUMENT MAY DO SO (ADOPT RESOLUTION 01-145).
