Happy Friday, February 2Z, 2013 Kathleen Moghannam Assistant Clerk of the Board Butte County Administration 25 County Center Drive, Suite 200 Oroville, CA 95965 530-538-7'643 From: David Masarik [mailto:masarikgoldCa~yahoo.comj Sent: Thursday, February 21, 2013 8:34 PM To: Wahl, Larry Subject: Thank you Dear Supervisor Wahl, I would like to thank you, for standing your ground, against this terrible, terrible ordinance. Thank you for being the voice for those who cannot speak. Thank you for saying every single thing that is wrong with the ordinance. Thank you for standing up for us and all the serious problems we are going through. It seems as if everything we (anti-pot-growers) have said, written letters, had personal conversations with our own district supervisor, and planning director, fell on deaf ears. It makes us wonder what is going on. I know the "committee" was skewd from the very start. We were very unrepresented in the foothills. The pro-pot growers were over represented. Having a professional defence Attorney for pro-pot growers chosen to be on their team. That was wrong and never should have been allowed. The balance of scales were heavily in their favor. The choosing process should be looked into. I never got the chance to ask (only 3 minutes) what the process, entailed, was there a public notice in the paper, were there applications filled out??? These questions deserve to be answered. The Tehama County ordinance was the perfect out for the Board. Yet they chose to throw all of us who live in the unincorperated areas 83,890. Under the bus. Maybe the Board will rethink there actions when the General Fund is empty, because of lack of property taxes., Now that our homes are worthless. Once again Thank you so very much, for your honesty, integrity, and downright common sense. I wish there were more hike you on the Board. Butte County is now a sinking ship, and thats sad. Sincerely, Bonnie ~c: Q~.~~~.C~s~l
