Tehama County Resource Advisory Committee to meet August 25
WILLOWS, Calif.; August 11, 2016 – For Immediate Release – The Tehama County Resource
Advisory Committee (RAC) will meet Thursday, August 25 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Tehama County
Department of Education Office, 275 Sale Lane in Red Bluff.
Presentations will be made to the committee members about proposed projects and a general discussion
will follow. RAC projects must have a benefit to National Forest lands or resources. Projects could include fuel
treatments in critical areas to reduce wildfire danger, planting trees along streams to improve water quality,
road and trail maintenance, fish and wildlife habitat improvement, or recreation and environmental education.
National Forests within Tehama County include Mendocino, Shasta-Trinity and Lassen.

District Ranger Eduardo Olmedo at 530-934-1250. Individuals may obtain interest forms for RAC membership
