I have been surprised to know that Chico Goddess Temple is to be denied use permit and
the appeal will be heard on July 31, 2012.
I have been associated with the Temple since the last six years. I and many of my friends
have regularly attended weekly spiritual outings and have been enjoying the healthful
mountain air at the Temple. It is our experience that for those suffering from allergens in
the valley below, meditation and yoga at the Temple provides relief to their suffering .Its
architecture and artistic layout has become a beautiful feature of the city.
Besides being a spiritual institution, Chico Goddess Temple is also a potential tourist
spot far the city of Chico which is known for its vibrant culture. It will be tragic if Chico
Goddess Temple and its facilities cease to exist far the public.
