Important Pipeline Safety Information for Your Jurisdiction
Dear Clerk of the Board Kathleen Moghannam,
ConocoPhillips Pipe Line Company (CPPL) operates a pipeline in Butte. You are receiving this
email because CPPL, like all U.S. pipeline operators, is legally required to regularly communicate
-. with local public officials, like you, near our lines.
Though we aren't required to communicate with public officials more than once every three years,
it is our goal to share safety information with our community leaders at key points throughout the
year. We want to reach decision makers at the cityltownship, county and state levels that are
responsible for emergency preparedness coordination and training, safe digging practices, project
planning and engineering, or jurisdictional administration efforts.
