Subject: Plumas National Forest Travel Management Plan litigation
1 strongly urge you to support the litigation against the Plumas National Forest Trave! Management Plan.
I know you have already heard all the details of why this is a bad plan and must be stopped. The even bigger picture is
that this is just the beginning of the Forest Service efforts to close the forests to everyone. They won't tell you that now,
but the grand scheme is exactly that, this is just one step to reach their goal of total closure for everyone. These are public
lands and owned by us all. It is discrimination to tell the jeepers, motorcyclists, hunters, Bsherman, etc. that they cannot
use roads that we have in the past to do their recreating.
Not to mention the survival of many mountain communities. Small communities in the mountains depend on
recreationists to keep them alive. Many small businesses will die if the Forest Service is not stopped.
The Forest Service does not act in good faith. They will tell you something just to string you along or hoping you will go
away, knowing that they are not going to give an inch anyway. We need to stop this steamroller before it destroys all of
our rights.
Please support the litigation.
Thank you.
