Please forward my re-appointment request to the Butte County Water Commission,
to the Butte County Board of Supervisors for their consideration.
Supervisors,
I respectfully request to be considered for re-appointment to the Butte County Water Commission,
in the position; Commission Member (Landowner-Private Well). In this capacity I will continue
representing the residents of Butte County that depend on their private Well, for Water, as I do.
I am enthusiastic about continuing to support the Water of Butte County. Water is our most
important and vital resource required to drive a sustainable economy in Butte County.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Finance, and I have a
considerable background and range of work experience that benefits this position.
Experience:
• Butte County Water Commission Member(Landowner-Private Well)thru March 1,2017.
Butte County Water Advisory Committee member as the `Cherokee Alliance at-large'
representative, and previously as the `Cherokee Area Sub Unit' Representative.
• Facilities Engineer, 27 years at Lockheed Aircraft, with the last 10 years in their secret
project"Skunk Works".
• Operations and Facilities Manager, 10 years, Los Angeles Unified School District,
supervising the daily operations of 77 schools with 350 custodians and grounds keepers.
• Winemaker, Owner and Operations Manager of a winery in Paso Robles, CA for 3 years.
Responsible for operations, marketing sales/distribution and reporting to the ABC and
BATF. American Society of Enologists 1977 to 1981.
• Owner and operator of a wholesale nursery for 8 years: Cycads and Palm Trees.
• Board of Directors: Butte Environmental Council, Handi-Riders and Snow Goose
Organizing Committee.
I feel that my continued participation on the Butte County Water Commission is beneficial to Butte
Counties Agricultural driven economy.
