Just wanted to let you know that Lindsay Wood will be resigning her FAC Alternate position. She plans on attending the
meeting on Monday,so we will all have an opportunity to thank her and wish her well in her life
adventures. Administration will post a vacancy notice for this Alternate position, and will accept applications once it has

Fellow Committee Members,
In the past 18 months, I gained an invaluable understanding of federal, state, and local interagency function as it
pertains to forest management. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve on the Butte County Forest Advisory
Committee with you and appreciate each of your unique perspectives on forest management and policy.
I have decided to abdicate my role as the watershed and environment voting alternate for the Butte County Forest
Advisory Committee. I have accepted a position as a guide on the Rogue and Klamath Rivers which begins in May, and I
will not be in the Butte County area for several months.
Thank you for volunteering your time to be a voice for Plumas and Lassen National Forests. It was a pleasure to work
with you.
