3.25* Appointments to the Richvale Recreation and Park District - Three of the five Board of Directors'
terms at the Richvale Recreation and Park District (District) ended December 5, 2014. Directors are
elected by the voters within the District, however, no one filed a declaration of candidacy for the
November 4, 2014 General Election to fill any of these positions. Government Code section
1780(f)(1) provides that the Board appoint a qualified person within 90 days of the date the District
Board was notified of a vacancy or the effective date of the vacancy, whichever is later. It is
requested the Board of Supervisors reappoint Mike Felkins and appoint Scott Smith and Paul Roles
to 4-year terms to end December 7, 2018. The Elections Office has confirmed that each of the
nominees reside within the District action requested MAKE APPOINTMENTS AS REQUESTED.
