2.01* Agreement with Pan American for Health Insurance Policy and Administrative Services - The
Butte County Public Authority and California United Healthcare Workers have agreed to move to
a new health plan for the In-Home Support Service (IHSS) Workers. The term of the new plan is
February 1, 2015 through January 31, 2016. The cost remains the same as the existing plan,
which is $281 per month for each eligible provider up to a cap of 525 providers, with a not-to-
exceed cost of $1,770,300 for the 12-month term - action requested - 1) APPROVE THE
AGREEMENTS (2) AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN; AND 2) AUTHORIZE THE DEPARTMENT
OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES DIRECTOR, IN HER CAPACITY AS THE EX-OFFICIO IHSS PA
DIRECTOR, TO SIGN ALL ADMINISTRATIVE DOCUMENTS WHICH ARE NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT
THE REVISED INSURANCE PROGRAM.
