Subject: Selection of Assistant Assessor
Fellow Directors, Board Members, and Staff
It is a privilege to introduce to you Blake Bailey as our recently-promoted Assistant Assessor. Some of you may know
Blake and have worked with him on various assessment-related issues over the years. Blake joined the staff of the
Assessor's Office in 1.991 and has served in a number of appraisal and administrative capacities. He oversees the
Williamson Act program for the department as well as assessment appeals, appraiser training, and manager training. He
serves on the land Conservation Act Committee, is vice president of the Northern Appraisal Council and along-term
lecturer of Farm and Ranch Appraisal at CSUC. He has a busy career and can 6e rightfully proud of his many
accomplishments.
Thank you for joining me in welcoming Blake to this key position in our department and in wishing him the very best as
he assumes the responsibilities of the assignment.
