4.01 * Resolution Ratifying Proclamation of a Local Disaster and Requesting the Governor of
California Pursue a Presidential Declaration of Disaster On April 1, 2011,
Chief Administrative Officer declared a local emergency as a result of high wind, heavy
snow and torrential rain. In accordance with the California Emergency Services Act
Section 8630(b), the governing body must ratify the declared emergency within 7 days
for it to remain in effect. Additionally, the Emergency Services Officer submits a request
to the Board requesting the Governor proclaim a State of Emergency and pursue a
Presidential Declaration of Disaster for Butte County action requested ADOPT
RESOUTION AND AUTHORIZE THE CHAIR TO SIGN. (Administration)
