Dear Madam and Sirs,
I have heard, from several of my neighbors, about their dismay over the Leen development project, proposed for
Stanley Avenue, and which apparently will not be following the policy protocols of a three hundred foot(300
ft.) agricultural buffer setback. People are upset. They feel that the impact of ignoring that buffer setback, is
critical to the people that it will effect.
Why is the need for a 300 ft. setback being disregarded or why is the size of the setback being reduced? Why
are the needs of the neighborhood being ignored?
I am certain that there are plenty of reasons that the size of the agricultural buffer zone was to be 300 ft-and I'm
sure you are all aware of each one of those reasons.
Also, I hope that our representatives are aware of the fact that if they are changing the 300 ft. buffer zone, then I
and others would expect logical explanations with pointed reasons, to follow our request for them. Also, as I
already mentioned, what other changes are being made to the norms or protocols of development policy?

This is a great neighborhood and so of course I feel that it deserves to be treated as such-both in planning for the
future of its' residents (which includes farmers) and for the land itself. I expect the representatives to-at the very
least, keep up with our expectations and standards.
We hope that you are representing the quality in leadership that we feel we deserve. The Leen Developent
should not receive special treatment, avoiding the current development policy protocols which others adhere to.
They are there for a reason. Please respect the needs of the Stanley Avenue neighborhood.
Thank You,
Riki Berlin
