Oroville Dam Blvd Closure, Friday, December 2'1
Please be aware, Oroville Dam Blvd East will be closed for an estimated twenty minutes for
construction blasting from approximately 3:45 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. on Friday, December 21.
Traffic heading east on Oroville Dam Blvd East will be stopped at Glen Drive; traffic heading
west will be stopped at Oroville Powerhouse Road (the Hyatt entrance road at the bottom of

the hill). Drivers may also experience delays at the Canyon Drive-Royal Oaks Drive-Oro Dam
Blvd East intersection during this time.
Drivers who wish to avoid this delay at Canyon Drive or Glen Drive can bypass the closed
portion, via 1) Canyon to Olive Highway or 2) Glen Drive to Oro-Quincy Highway to Olive
Highway.
The short blasting is part of the work around the main spillway to improve hillside safety. The
blasting will be similar to those completed in the past several weeks, so we anticipate similar
noise levels locally.
