Commission staff recently released the Public Benefit Ratio review ufinformation supplied by applicants requesting
funding through the Water Storage Investment Program. Please note this isthe initial technical review and does not
represent Commission decision.
The initial reviews, which are posted onthe Commission WS,IP Portal, arethe first step inthe task ofquantifying the
public benefits—ecosystem improvements, water quality improvements,,flood control,emergency response and
recreation—associated with the proposed projects. Review teams included subject matter experts from the California
Department of Fish and Wildlife, the California Department of Water Resources and the State Water Resources Control
Board.
Applicants will have the opportunity over the next three weeks to provide additional supporting information and address
specific comments from the review process. In addition, Commission staff is scheduling optional meetings with applicants
to answer clarifying questions related to the initial technical review. Commission staff anticipates the public benefit ratios
will change based on that additional information and will release revised numbers that will go to,the Commission for
consideration in May.

Q: I don't know my username and password to join the meeting.
A:You do not need a user name or password to join the meeting. Please select the guest option,type
in your first and last name,and then click the"Enter Room" button.A new window or tab should open
with the meeting room.
Q:1 can't hear the meeting.
A: Please check to make sure that your computer audio is not on mute and that your volume is turned
up. If you are using headphones, make sure they are connected. If you are still experiencing audio
issues,you can use the following call-in number: 1-866-244-8528 and passcode:959947. Please note
that if you use this call-in number, it will be a listen-only opportunity(as is the meeting audio.)This
meeting does not include an opportunity for asking verbal questions.
Q: Do I need a phone number to join?
